Data Deletion Instructions

AI Head Office gives you several ways to delete the data we hold about you, depending on whether you are a merchant using AI Head Office or an end consumer of a brand that uses it.

If you are a merchant using AI Head Office

Disconnect a single integration

  1. Sign in to AI Head Office and open Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click the menu on the integration card you want to remove (e.g. Meta, Shopify, Google Ads).
  3. Choose Disconnect and confirm.

Within 48 hours of disconnecting, all data sourced from that integration is purged from your workspace (ad accounts, campaigns, daily metrics, integration logs, and the stored access token).

Delete your entire workspace

  1. Email aiheadoffice@theecommerceaccelerator.com from the address associated with your workspace.
  2. Include the workspace name and the platforms you have connected. We may ask one verification question to confirm you are the workspace owner.
  3. We will action the deletion within 30 days, typically within one business day. You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete.

If you uninstalled AI Head Office from Shopify

When you uninstall the app from your Shopify admin, Shopify notifies us via the app/uninstalled webhook. We immediately disconnect the Shopify integration and revoke the stored access token, so no further data is synced. About 48 hours later Shopify sends a shop/redact request, at which point we permanently delete all Shopify-sourced data for your workspace — orders and line items, products, variants, inventory, customers, integration logs, and the integration record itself.

If you removed AI Head Office from your Facebook account

When you remove AI Head Office from Facebook (Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites), Facebook automatically notifies us via a data-deletion callback. We delete the associated integration and all data sourced from it within 48 hours.

If you want to confirm deletion status, Facebook provides a confirmation code at the time you removed the app. You can also email us with the code and we will look it up.

If you are an end consumer of a brand using AI Head Office

AI Head Office acts as a data processor for the brand you purchased from. Please contact the brand directly to request deletion of your data. The brand will forward your request through the standard platform mechanisms (e.g. Shopify customers/redact webhook), which we honor within 30 days — typically within seconds.

Note that we do not store your name, phone number, or full address. We retain only:

  • The platform customer ID
  • An irreversible one-way hash (HMAC-SHA256) of your email address
  • Order metadata (totals, dates, ISO country code)

The email hash cannot be reversed to plaintext without our server-side secret, so a database leak alone cannot expose your email address.

What gets deleted

  • The integration row holding the access token and authorization metadata
  • All ad accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, and keywords sourced from the integration
  • All daily performance metrics tied to those entities
  • All integration sync logs for the deleted integration
